Absences

If your child will be absent, please contact the school office before 9 a.m. using one of the following methods:

Please provide your child's name and the reason for his/her absence. Orchard Elementary School is required by law to call home for all students not in attendance and for whom there is no reason for an absence.

Planned Absences

If your child will be missing school due to a pre-planned absence (vacation, Death in family, surgery, etc.) for more than two days, we ask that you fill out the Absence request form linked HERE and turn it into the office. You can fill the form out electronically, then download it and email it to the office, or you can pick up the blank form from the Orchard office.
